Hm?
From a random comment:
Why do yuppies like to line up for food?Like seriously, is Pasta Mia in Adams Morgan that good? Or is it just some trendy boho fad.
Like, 2 Amy’s is good pizza. But, I think, the reason most of my friends rave about it is because it’s always packed and trendy. Whereas Vace pizza, down the road, is half the price, and just as good, if not better.
So, please speak about Pasta Mia and the hoax that is being pulled on DC transplant 20-30ish year old (mostly) white urban bourgeois
I wonder this same thing about Figo and Taqueria del Sol on Howell Mill.

I’ve never had Taqueria Del Sol, but I do find Figo mighty tasty. I don’t think it’s just a fad.

I wonder the same thing. I like Taqueria Del Sol, but if there’s a long line (which is most of the time), I say fuck it. It’s not *that* good.
For several years since moving to Atlanta, Figo was one of my favorite restaurants. But recently they changed their menu and now I’m just not feeling it anymore.

Pastia Mia has good food. It’s a tiny tiny restaurant which is why there are lines. It’s had lines ever since the 90s when I lived there. It’s actually across the street from that festivus sign. hee
